Linda Lu, the daughter of John and Alice (Acheson) Miller, was born in Des Moines, Iowa on March 16, 1948.  She graduated from Valley High School in West Des Moines with the Class of 1966, and then attended the Americana Beauty Academy graduating from there in 1967.

Linda, “a naïve girl” met her husband Allen Tucker, “a bad boy” scooping the loop in downtown Des Moines.  They were married in 1967 and to this union had three daughters, Teri, Tammy and Tricia.

Linda worked as a beauty operator for 3 years before going to work for Northwester Bell, later Qwest, retiring in 2005.  She was a member of Daughter of the American Revolution and a Union Steward at CWA.  She was a member of Christian Life Assembly of God in Des Moines before joining Crossroads Church in Norwalk.  Linda was well known for coordinating funeral dinners at both churches.  She liked reading, scrapbooking, gardening, collecting John Wayne memorabilia, and Beanie Babies.   Most of all Linda enjoyed being a very involved “MeeMaw” to her five grandchildren and attended all of their special activities and events.

She is survived by her three daughters, Teri (Eric) Arbogast, Tammy (Steve) Rosander, and Tricia (Mike) Ridgeway all of Norwalk; a step-mother, Carole Miller of West Des Moines; three brothers, Jerry (Anne) Miller and Jeff (Mary) Miller both from West Des Moines, and Joe (Liz) Miller of Cedar Rapids; three step-siblings, Myron Wagner, Fred Wagner, and Kim Smuck; five grandchildren, Jacob Rosander, Cannon Ridgeway, Mitchell Arbogast, Gabby Ridgeway, and Jackson Arbogast.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Allen Tucker in 2004.
