Edmond Sullivan, age 93, of Des Moines died peacefully Monday evening, January 7, 2019.
A visitation with the family will be Wednesday, January 16th from 9 to 10 a.m. with a Celebration of Life Service following at 10 a.m. at O'Leary Funeral Services in Norwalk. Edmond's Life Story
Edmond Joseph Sullivan was born to Edmond and Elizabeth (Lasko) Sullivan on February 25, 1925 in Des Moines, Iowa.
E.J. attended and graduated from Albia High School, and received his Bachelor's Degree from Drake University.
He worked for the Auditor's Office at the State of Iowa for 30 years. He loved all the Iowa Hawkeye sports, especially basketball and football. He really enjoyed dogs, and watching television; but mostly, he loved his family above all else.
E.J. died on Monday, January 7, 2019 with family by his side. He lived 93 years and 10 months, and was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary.
Those left to cherish E.J.'s memory are his sons, Mark, Greg and Bob; a granddaughter Taisa Jones (Chad Lindberg); two great-grandchildren William (Holly) and Destiny as well as five great-great grandchildren.
