Jeffrey Scott Harbour, age 52, of West Des Moines (formerly of Norwalk) died Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at his home.
Visitation will be Monday, December 23rd from 5 to 7 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7 p.m. at O’Leary Funeral & Cremation Services in Norwalk. Jeffrey's Life Story
Jeffrey Scott Harbour was born May 19, 1967 in Omaha, Nebraska to Mack Harbour and Nancy (Brown) Gambrel. Jeff moved with his family to Des Moines, Iowa when he was 9 years old. He was a graduate of Norwalk High School with the Class of 1985. During school he was a great wrestler; making it to the state tournament two years.
Jeff had a successful career in security system sales starting in Des Moines and advancing to Springfield, IL, St. Louis, MO and Milwaukee, WI. He was always a true entrepreneur which led him to owning his own company, Harbour ProPainting back in Des Moines. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Blues and Pittsburg Steelers. He also loved playing golf. He always had a great wit and a great sense of humor.
Jeff was a great son, brother and especially a wonderful father. His true love was his children, Jeffrey and Natalie. He spent much of his time with them and loved sharing their accomplishments. Jeff had a strong love of God. His Family was everything to him, he was loved by many, and he will be truly missed.
He is survived by his two children, Jeffrey Mack and Natalie Sue and their mother, Chandra Harbour; his mother Nancy (Steven) Gambrel of Des Moines; his father, Mack (Carol) Harbour of Pleasant Hill; a sister, Jennifer (Chad) Hutchinson of West Des Moines; a brother Jim Harbour (Becky Leuschner) of Norwalk; his Aunt Patty Palmer and Uncle Dave Brown; a niece, Allison; and four nephews, Spencer, Grant, Chase, and Jack.
