Kara's Life Story

Kara Lynn Gesaman was born January 3rd 1991.  She was the first born daughter to Greg and Brenda Gesaman.  When Brenda was told it was a girl, she didn’t believe it.  They were sure they were having a boy.  She was small from day one and stayed that way.  Then came the blond hair to go with her blue eyes.  She was always a beautiful girl and later woman.  Kara was always there for her friends and others in need.  She was impatient with life and got her CNA certification at 16 - before she could even use it, and graduated from High School a year early.  She had a brief marriage when she was young and spent a happy 9 months in Hawaii.  When she came back, she worked to receive her paralegal degree from Kaplan University and began working as a paralegal.  It was at that point in her life, she began a battle with drugs that led to years of struggle and ultimately contributed to her death from multiple organ failure.  In the middle of this time, she received her greatest blessing and joy - her beautiful daughter Ava Monroe.  Ava always loved her mother, and enjoyed spending time with her.  Ava will continue to feel her love and blessings through-out her life.

Kara loved Marilyn Monroe, Mermaids, tattoos, wolves, crystals, spirits, her dog Diesel, her sister Kaylen, and her daughter Ava.  She will be loved and remembered by her family and all those whose life she touched.

Kara is survived by her daughter Ava, parents, Greg and Brenda Gesaman, sister and brother in-law Kaylen and Daniel Petullo,  Grandparents Gary and Kay Gesaman and Gerald and Elda Cole, uncle and aunts Joel and Lesley Gesaman, Mike and Vickie Miller, Jeff Cole, Larry and Elaine Teasdale, Kim and Kevin Hansen, and many other relatives including great aunts and uncles and cousins that all loved her dearly.  She was proceeded in death by her Great Grandparents.
