Ro's Life Story

Romalis Ejehan, the son of Marilyine and Russell Baugh and Anthony Weathers, was born June 9, 2000 in Omaha, Nebraska.  The first six years of Ro’s life was spent in Omaha with family where he enjoyed hanging out with his brother, Patrick, and cousins, Hope and Cartrell.  He liked to play in his giant bounce house, going to the zoo and the park.

Ro’s family moved to Norwalk where he started first grade in the fall of 2006.   From the time he was very young until he was 10 Ro and his mom were swordsmen where they would battle with nerf swords for hours.  They had a very special bond and played together, including football on the PS4.

Ro played the piano and the alto saxophone.  He participated in SCIBA band contest with his saxophone where he always achieved a high rating.

He was involved with youth baseball and basketball, but he really excelled in the seventh grade football, under his coach Darin Schreck.  Darin encouraged Ro to continue to play football and to go out for track.  In track he ran in the 4x100, 4x200, Sprint Medley and High Jump.  He participated in the Drake Relays in the 4x100.  He lettered in track for three years.

Ro was dedicated these past few years to his school work.  As a result he was recruited by Colorado State University at Pueblo to wear his number 64 and play defensive end.  During his four years of Norwalk football he played varsity three years and started one year.  They made it to the 3A Football Championship in 2015.  He lettered in football in 2016 and 2017.

Ro loved to travel with his parents.  He’s been nearly everywhere except Canada.  He loved to eat and experience food.

He is survived by his parents; his siblings, Patrick, Jason, Richard, Garritt, Jacob, Sydney, Amber, Stephanie (Colin), Derian, Lawrence and Mackenzie; cousins, Hope, Cartrell, Isabelle, and Jamar; his best friends, Kobey Embrey, Jake Gudenkauf, Joey Rico, Jon Strait, Keegan Okland-Kenney, and Grant Garner; and a host nieces, nephews, family and good friends.
