Clifford “Cliff” Harlan, age 56, of Norwalk, died peacefully on Wednesday, Marcy 17, 2021 at MercyOne Hospice in Johnston.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 1 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with the family present to receive guest from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Leary Celebration of Life Center in Norwalk.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 2 at 10:30 AM at the O'Leary Celebration of Life Center in Norwalk. Burial will immediately follow at the Norwalk Cemetery.

The Life Story of Cliff Harlan
Clifford Kenneth Harlan, 57 of Norwalk, Iowa passed away on March 17, 2021 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa.
Clifford was born in Des Moines, Iowa on June 11, 1964 to Ted Harlan & Violet Whistler. Ted & Violet also had two additional children, LeeAnn Harlan and Sherry Harlan, and later was joined by a half sibling Theodore Harlan through his stepmother Debbie Harlan.
Clifford married Kimberly Harlan on September 8, 1989 and they have four children: Kevin Salyers, Stephanie Harlan, Brandon Harlan, and Scott Harlan.
Clifford worked in the hospitality field for 20 years and retired working in security. Clifford had a passion of riding his tractor and mowing yards. His all-time favorite was listening to Elvis whenever he had the chance.
Clifford’s memory will be cherished by his wife, Kimberly, Kevin (Carla Lynn) Salyers, Stephanie Harlan, Brandon Harlan and Scott Harlan.
