Visitation for Lola Jean Bristoll, age 83, of Norwalk (formerly Martensdale) will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 17th where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6:30 p.m. at O'Leary Funeral & Cremation Services in Norwalk.

Lola Jean (Glenn) Bristoll was born February 26, 1938 to Charles and Lena (Archer) Glenn in Runnells, Iowa.
Lola married William Baumann Sr. and they were joined by a son William “Billy” Baumann Jr.
Lola married Acel “Ace” Mirl Bristoll Jr. and they were joined by two children, Mary and Aaron. Lola was the first housekeeping supervisor when Adventureland opened. She also worked as a correctional officer at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women in Mitchellville.
Lola loved being a mom to Billy, Mary and Aaron. She was a great seamstress and enjoyed making clothing for Mary. Lola enjoyed crafts and painting but most of all spoiling her grandkids and being with family. She was a member of the Berean Assembly of God Church for many years.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband Acel “Ace” Bristoll, mother Lena Taber, siblings Ruth Black, Marty Brubaker, Charles Glenn.
She will always be lovingly remembered by her children, Mary Bristoll of Martensdale, and Aaron (Lonie) Bristoll, of Prole and son Billy Baumann of California. Her sister Phyllis Ferris of Des Moines, brother Pete (Darla) Taber of Des Moines, grandchildren Christopher (Stacy) Baumann of Texas, Peter (Ashely) Gillette of California and Austin Bristoll of Prole, and many friends, nieces and nephews.
