Pam A. Kleen, age 64, died peacefully Saturday morning, April 4, 2020 at Norwalk Nursing and Rehab. Pam died from multi-system failure not caused by COVID-19.
The family will have an open-visitation from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 11th at O'Leary Funeral Services in Norwalk for those wishing to pay their respects. Cremation will follow the visitation and a Celebration of Life Service will be held later this year once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
The Open-Visitation option available to the families that choose O'Leary Funeral & Cremation Services gives those an opportunity to visit the decedent at the funeral home. The family will not be present to receive guest. Upon your arrival you will be greeted and asked to give your name [and address if desired] where one of our funeral home staff will record that information in the guestbook. You will then be able to enter the viewing room where you will have the opportunity to spend time with the deceased and watch the family tribute video. Prior to leaving we will create a Tribute Balloon as a token of your presence that will have your name along with a message if you choose. These Tribute Balloons will then be placed into the seats of the viewing area so that when the family returns for their closing-time they will be able to see all those friends and family that attended throughout the day. If you are not able to attend but would like us to sign your name and create a Tribute Balloon on your behalf please call (515) 981-0700. In addition to this Open-Visitation option we are then providing at no additional cost to the family the opportunity for them to have a public visitation/gathering later when the virus threat is no longer.
For on-line c0ndolences and to send flowers/plants to the family for either the viewing or future service please select the guestbook/send tribute or flowers tab on this screen. You may also call O'Leary Flowers direct at (515) 981-0700.
