Ryan Jacob Lane, age 29, of Norwalk, died unexpectedly on Thursday morning, July 23, 2020 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Friends may visit O'Leary Funeral Services in Norwalk starting at 2 p.m. Friday, July 31st where the family will be present to receive guest beginning at 5 p.m. and concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 7 p.m.

Ryan's Life Story
Ryan Jacob, the son of Gary and Deb (Randolph) Lane, was born on July 22, 1991 at Ehrling Berquist Hospital at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska. Following Gary's separation from active duty Ryan's family returned to Norwalk, Iowa. Growing-up Ryan enjoyed skateboarding and drawing. He truly enjoyed reptiles, Legos, and go karts. He was very talented playing a wide-range of instruments including the saxophone and drums of which he had his own drum set. When older Ryan liked to snowboard with older brother, Chris; traveling to Utah, Colorado, Minnesota and Illinois. Ryan's passion was working as a Music-Developer and was a local DJ. Ryan and Chris shared a passion for building cars; preferably Nissan and Honda.
Ryan met Shelby Jo Tinlin of Des Moines in 2013; they were married on July 18, 2015 in Norwalk. To this union they have two children, a four year-old daughter, Ryia and three year-old son, Ronan; and together made their home in Norwalk. Ryan and Shelby enjoy attending music festivals, hiking, cooking and spending time with one another. They shared a love of their children and spending time with family.
Ryan, who celebrated his 29th birthday the day before, died unexpectedly on Thursday morning, July 23, 2020 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. He was preceded in death by "his uncles" Roy Hilgemann and Wes Huffman.
He leaves those to cherish his memory his wife, Shelby, and their two children, Ryia and Rόnάn; his parents, Gary and Deb; a brother, Chris (Nicollette) of Kansas City, MO; his grandparents, Junior and Louise Lane of Indianola and Norm and Beverly Randolph of Stockton, CA; his parent-in-laws, Douglas (Dawn) Tinlin, Denise Atchison, and Gloria Tinlin; other in-laws include, Bobby (Britney), Parker, Brenton (Lyndsi), Brittany, Donald (Jasmyn), Dominic, Anthony, Annabelle and Sarrissa; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, additional family and good friends. He will be dearly missed by his fury companion, Delilha.
