Obituary

Victorine "Vicky" Mae (Ringleman) Wilson, age 98, of Norwalk died peacefully Monday morning, August 17, 2020 at Regency Care Center in, Norwalk.

Visitation & a Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, October 24 with visitation starting at 10:00 AM followed by the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM at the Norwalk United Methodist Church in Norwalk, Iowa.  Face masks are required at the family's request.

Victorine Wilson's Life Story

Victorine Mae was born in Wamego, Kansas on October 16, 1921 to Andrew & Carrie (Williams) Ringleman.  She was raised and went to school in Onaga, Kansas.  On June 11, 1939, Victorine married Melvin Earl Wilson.  Together, they created a loving family: Carolyn Louise was born on September 16, 1941, Darrell Andrew was born on August 20, 1949, and David Eugene was born on May 14, 1957.  In 1945, Victorine gave birth to a still born baby boy, Melvin Jr.

She was preceded in death by her baby son, Melvin, Jr.; her parents, Andrew & Carrie Ringleman; her dear son, Darrel Wilson; her beloved husband, Melvin Wilson; beloved son-in law, Ronald DePriest; and her loving brother, Clarence Ringleman.

 Victorine will be cherished by her daughter Carolyn DePriest, son David Wilson (Vickie), daughter-in-law Janelle Wilson and brother Fred Ringleman as well as 10 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren.
